Its is reported in today’s Scotsman newspaper about the Edinburgh Tram Project, now about 3 or four years into 3 year project:
But the council and its under-fire tram company are unable to say how much even this scaled-back route will cost after failing to end a dispute with the German construction giant which has the contract to build the network.
It probably could have been a great project. It probably could have been, and maybe it will be, a great development for Edinburgh. At the moment it only seems to be great as an example of how not to run a project.
